Rumor Gal Campfire; Thursday Evening

While he was getting pretty damn tired of the whole cabin thing, Chuck would have been stupid not to take advantage of an already lit fire and the new bag of marshmallows he found in the kitchen. He wasn't quite sure who kept buying the marshmallows but Zefron bless them.

Joint in his left hand, Chuck tried his hand at trying to flick marshmallows in the air with his right and catching them in his mouth. Turns out he had a talent for it.

[Mmm my hangover is finally subsiding. Ooooopen, of course]

"Which means I actually had them withheld from me, when I got here," she said, looking terribly sad. "I've tasted my own medicine and it is bitter."

She was really torn up about it. Especially considering she was happily toasting a marshmallow at this moment.

"Sometimes you need to learn lessons the hard way for them to really stick with you," Zayne said. "But as long as you grow as a person, it was worth it."

"I do feel like I'm a better person," Sookie said seriously, "for havin' to wait for my sweets. Never again will I deny you, nor anyone else, a marshmallow."

"Now you're going to be the most popular campfire host ever," Zayne said. "I know I'll be stopping by for snacks whenver I can."

"Hopefully even if I don't have snacks," Sookie said thoughtfully. "I'd hate to think that people just like me for my marshmallow-generosity."

"It's only eighty percent of why I like you," Zayne joked. "So you don't have to worry."

"So long as I've got that twenty percent that I can fall back on," she said, nodding. "Nice to know."

"The twenty percent is the best part anyway," Zayne said. "The snacks don't feel so good the next day and give me more to work off in the gym."

"Whereas the remaining twenty probably doesn't contribute to those problems," Sookie guessed helpfully.

"If a good conversation ever makes me work out more in the gym, I'm going to have to wonder how good the conversation really was," Zayne said. Because that's what a large part of the twenty percent was.
