After detention, Peter came to the common room to set up RISK. The board was set up, the pieces were out... the only thing left to do was start the game.

"Hey Bridge!" Isabel waved. "That's a new look."

"Isabel, hi!" Bridge grins. "Yeah. My uniform was sort of, um, destroyed. So I'm waiting HQ to send a new one."

"Destroyed?" Isabel asked with a raised eyebrow. "I hope you weren't in it when it happened. Cause ouch!

"Well, sort of?" Bridge says, running a hand through his hair. "Acidic mud. Not strong enough to, like, actually burn me or anything, but apparently strong enough to dissolve clothing fibers."

And that mental image was interesting enough to make Isabel laugh. "I'm sorry about your poor uniform, but I'm glad you weren't hurt."

"On the plus side, the whole thing made Sky, like, permanently opposed to any sort of training course involving mud. Which is a relief 'cause I kind of hate mud runs."

"I can understand that," Isabel smiled. "Mud is only fun if you're three. Or if you can soak in it in a very expensive spa. But your trip to where ever it was went okay otherwise?"

"Yep!" Bridge says. "Well, sort of boring. A lot of lectures and seminars and stuff. But I got to see my teammates, which was cool."

"That's good. It's always nice to get back and see friends back home." Her smile faltered for a second before she continued, "I know it was nice to see my friends when I went back to Roswell last month."

"So did anything good happen while I was gone? Xander mentioned there was a crayon," Bridge says, in an attempt to steer the conversation in a different direction.

Isabel laughed, "Yeah, the red crayon of grading madness. It tried to grade me in the hallway. But I blew it up. Unfortunately it must have been magical because it reformed. We had a bit of a stand-off before it finally took off to find another victim."
