"I was under orders, but I tried to tell her and she went anyway," Alec said grimly. "I don't like killing, but I didn't think I had a choice and when I realized I did it was too late for her."

"I'm a genetically superior transgenic created by the American government and intended for advanced infantry movement and black ops," Alec said more easily, glad to move on to something else.

Alec's mouth twitched in a faint smirk. "I have superior strength, speed, reflexes, overall physical improvement and enhancement, eidetic memory, higher than average IQ, telescopic vision, as well as a faster healing rate. And the whole being trained from birth as a soldier thing. So I'd probably not put my money on you, no."

Alec frowned quizzically. "I'm not sure I follow?"

"Oh, sure, I know I'm hot, but I'm not necessarily attracted to me," he said, frowning still. "I don't think. I mean, I like girls."

"I'm guessing it's something like seeing two girls together, which can be really damn hot, but it really wasn't all that bad, just different," he said, managing to cut himself off before he tangented too far. "I really think it's about time I get outta here, Cam, as much as I'm really not enjoying telling you things I barely admit to myself half the time."

"Agreed," Alec said shortly, before making himself very very scarce.
