Gym, morning before workshops
Still looking a bit worse for wear, Cameron was giving the tread mill a work out as he waited for Veronica to show up. He was pretty sure he was in here yesterday too, but he had a hard time remembering what exactly he had been talking about so he was going to put it down to post mummy invasion stress.
((As usual, the thread with Veronica is locked between them.
Worse for wear translation: the boy's got cuts on his face that look suspiciously like a mummy hand grabbed him in the face and there's bruises along his throat from getting choked.))

She got so wrapped up in those, that she was almost late for meeting Cameron.
"Sorry!" she apologized. "I got caught up in some reading. What's going on?"
She braced herself for his response, half afraid the truth spell hadn't worn off.

Then she realized that she hadn't blurted out the entire truth and had to resist the urge to do a dance.
"So what are we..." she trailed off as she finally noticed the scratches and bruises all over Cameron's face and neck. "What happened?"

"Mummy run in," he said as he consciously touched the cut on his cheek. "I think we might go for something easy today as I'm still sore."

"That works," she nodded. "I kind of feel like hitting stuff today anyway."

"I saw the posters you hung up the other day," she said. "Congratulations."

"Thanks, I figured it was easiest that way and no one's trying to deck me... yet."

After checking to make sure Cameron had a good grip on the bag, she started hitting.

"I sort of sent someone an email last night and said some things I shouldn't have. I recalled the message this morning and I'm hoping that person didn't check their email before I recalled it."

"That might work. I'm certain they don't know you can recall emails. If they did read it and then it's gone, they might think they imagined it. Which may be kind of mean, but is really actually for the best considering what I said."

"I did, but it wasn't for the right reasons," she replied vaguely. It was obvious that no one really remembered what had happened and she didn't want a bunch of people going after Piper, so she wasn't telling anyone.

She took another break from hitting the bag. "Am I doing okay?" she asked.

"So how'd you and Molly end up deciding to give things a try?" she asked, mostly because she didn't want Cam to start asking questions about her email again.

She took a few deep breaths. "Okay, I think I'm done for today, if that's okay with you."

"I'll see you tomorrow in class."
