5th Floor Common Room, Saturday Afternoon

After a strange conversation with Phoebe, Bel headed to the common room. Spreading some love and joy would brighten his mood.

The common room was a mess after the party from the night before. Bel waved his hand, setting the room to right. The walls and furniture became bright and cheery colors, and plates of nutritious yet delicious snacks and glasses of orange juice filled the tables. The TV was playing "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (because people helping other people was quality entertainment suitable for all ages).

He left the glitter, however, because glitter was always fun.

She arched a brow. "I guess you are good at it if you're willing to teach me, Alec. So I should trust you. I guess."

And even though trusting him was the last thing any decent girl should do, Alec was very glad to hear it. "Of course you should," he murmured, reaching up to touch the side of her face.

Annette held herself still but she raised a cute little brow at the touch to her face. "I would call this subtle flirting, Alec. Would you?"

He would call it something more than subtle, himself, but if it was working he wasn't going to argue. "I'd call it a lot of fun," he drawled. "Fun I wouldn't mind continuing."

He was really smooth, Annette certainly thought that. And so handsome. She wondered how far he thought his flirting would get him.

She smiled slightly. "I wouldn't mind either, Alec."

Okay, he was getting a little close now. Annette watched his eyes, then his mouth, then his eyes again. And maybe she was breathing just a tad bit heavier.

"Good." She said softly.

Annette was surprised by the light kiss. She shouldn't have been, but she was. And...though very soft, it was really nice.

Now that he was sure she wasn't going to pull away, Alec deepened the kiss a bit. If all the girls here were so pliant, he was going to have an easy job indeed.

Little butterflies suddenly fluttered in Annette's stomach. The kiss was endearingly tempting.

But she could not let it go any further...

She pulled away just slightly, too close to really gage his expression, and still close enough that her mouth was just a breath from his.

She looked up into his eyes. "But I'm afraid I'm just not that kind of girl."
