Second Floor Common Room, Sunday Late Night

As the saying went, your ears were supposed to burn or something if someone was talking about you, but Anders's ears had felt just fine today. Which was just as well -- if he'd had any idea what certain parties had been saying about him today he'd be freaking out. If he'd had any idea of certain events that had transpired? He'd definitely be freaking out.

Okay, so he was freaking out, but for an entirely different reason: he'd missed the snowboard-X competition at the Winter X Games.

This didn't stop him from lying on a couch in the common room (just for the change of scenery), scowling at ESPN and waiting to see if they'd replay any of it. As if it had been ESPN's fault that he'd been preoccupied and missed it in the first place.

[OOC: Open! Who says ignorance isn't bliss? . . . don't answer that.]

"A friend of mine was... in a lot of trouble," Bridge says. "Xander and I went to see if we could help her out."

"Oh man." Tori knew what that was like. "Is she okay, now?"

"It's hard to say because it hasn't been played out yet," Bridge admits.

"Well, I hope she is, whatever happened." Tori smiles sincerely.
