5th floor Common room, Monday after classes

River was happy and making popcorn went well with being happy. So popcorn were flying through the kitchen and River danced about, trying to catch as many as possible with her hands and mouth. Berthold was lying under his blanket, tentacles reaching out and trying to get to the ice cream carton without getting in the way of River. Her mood seemed to be contagious as the monster made cheerful squeals.

Buffy sighed as well. "I don't know what or how to learn though. I mean, you said you'd teach me stuff, but, I dunno." She waved her hand a little.

"Boring, book kind of stuff," Dawn explained, "Fighty stuff, too, but I don't know about that. You'd have to talk to Xander about that. He's helping me with Mel, too."

Dawn grinned at the mention of River. "She told me about all the weapons in your room. I told her that it sounded like a training facility my sister had. I haven't seen her fight, but if you say she's really, really good? I'll believe you."
