Third Floor Common Room - Friday Morning

Chris was kind of cranky after his visit to Caritas with Lana last night.

So he decided to hole up in the common room with mindless daytime television and sugary cereal as company.

"I have to ask, because I'm slightly curious and because I know her and I know Jim fairly well -- she's not rebounding, is she? And dude, I'm not asking to be a prick, I'm just wondering how she is is all."

For some reason, Chris actually believed Johnny. "I don't think she is," he said. "I mean, neither of us was planning on this at all. It sort of just... happened."

He nodded. "That's the best sort of way, if you ask me. Letting it just happen. You know it's real then." He shrugged. "I can't really offer advice on Anders, you know? Think about it, Chris. I'm sort of in the same boat with Savannah... you know?"

Chris considered that. "Yeah, I guess you're right. Although, I've never done anything that should make anyone think I'd hurt Lana. And my biggest concern with you and Savannah was you getting bored and starting to date other people again."

Johnny leaned forward slightly. "What have I actually done to make people think that I'd hurt Savannah? Because I dated around when I first came here? I'm not going to get bored with Savannah, Chris. I love her..." he shrugged and looked down. "I really love her."

"I guess... you came across as a playboy who was only interested in one thing," Chris said. "Savannah's a very sweet and very innocent girl. Can you really blame us for thinking that?"

"Okay, you're right," Johnny said and looked mildly sheepish. "I sort of was... was being the key word here, Chris and... Savannah is sweet and... you didn't hear the radio I take it?"

"Maybe I don't think they're downloadable," Johnny lied. "I think...something is screwy with the system. Maybe I should go see if Savannah is awake now."
