Fourth floor common room, Sunday evening

Dean was in the kitchen cooking up some hamburgers. He was making more than even he could eat because he knew how food around here seemed to conjure up people to eat it.

He'd brought his ghetto blaster out too and was singing along to Metallica as he cooked.

[ooc: open as common rooms are]

"Are you going to gulp it down like a heathen?" Chuck asked.

"'Heathen'? Is there a religious ceremony for drinking Scotch?" Sokka asked.

Chuck resisted the urge to facepalm.

"It's best if you just stick to juice or soda or something," he said. Look at him, being all polite.

"It's LIQUOR, not TEA!" Sokka protested.

Not that he stood on ceremony with tea either, but some people did.

"It still deserves respect," Chuck said. What are they teaching kids these days? No wonder the world was going to hell.

Sokka stared at him, and blinked. "You know what? Keep your liquor. I'll just stick to soda."

Besides, if the kid was this much of a snob about the Scotch, he'd probably mock Sokka for being a lightweight, and then Sokka would have to beat him up, and that would distract him from the burgers.

"Probably a wise decision," Chuck replied.

Sokka nodded. "For your sake."
