Fourth floor common room, Sunday evening

Dean was in the kitchen cooking up some hamburgers. He was making more than even he could eat because he knew how food around here seemed to conjure up people to eat it.

He'd brought his ghetto blaster out too and was singing along to Metallica as he cooked.

Dinah folded her arms, smiling at him. "Oh you are, hunh. A wizard. Really." The words prove it were on the tip of her tongue, but she wanted to be just a *little* smarter than that. "And so you poofed the gym into existence with your magic wand?"

Ronan couldn't help but laugh. "No wand necessary," he said, as he lined up one of his favorite spells in his head. "Watch," he continued, as he ran his hand down the opposite arm. Shimmering glitter appeared in its wake.

And all cool went right out the window again. "Oooooooo," Dinah breathed, leaning forward, eyes wide.

"Of course," Dinah said, teasing a little. "Um." Maybe he would be the right person to ask? "Can you move things with your thoughts?"

"Telekinesis?" Ronan asked. "Not really. I mean, I could probably cast a spell to do it, but it really wouldn't be worth the power it would take. I've had some friends who can do it, though."

"Really?" Dinah lit up. "Um. Are they good at it?" She debaged a long moment, then poked a napkin, and tried to make it rise. "Better than this?"

The napkin rose, and rose, and -- then got stuck to the ceiling, splat. "Um."

Ronan eyed the napkin. "... More control, certainly," he said, nodding. "But that comes with time. You certainly don't seem to lack for power."

"Um, yeah, I need a lot of practice," Dinah admitted. "Although, I've improved a lot? I don't even knock over stuff when I get mad any more." She couldn't help smiling though. "But there are people like me here! And people who do magic! Like you! And it's all so cool! And can you do the shimmery thing again? And you didn't explain the gym."

Dinah paused for breath, possibly to Ronan's relief.

Ronan laughed. "Well, okay, I didn't build the gym," he said. "But I am a wizard. And yeah, I can make myself glittery whenever I want."
