Fifth Floor Common Room; Friday Evening [ 01/07 ].

So Ariel's plans didn't turn out quite as she would have liked. Raven was appearing to have a bad day, but she still really wanted to have pizza, inspired by earlier with her idea, and, though it didn't have the privacy of her room like she was sort of thinking would be nice, she still could (try to, anyway) invite Chuck to come have some with her.

It just meant others might have some with them, too. But she could turn it into a party and go with it, and so she picked up a few more pizzas, with a lot of different toppings (no sardines or anchovies, yuck!), but the most prominent one, of course, was the inspiration for all of it.

Because at Pizza Planet, they said they would make a Cheetos pizza for her.

It was almost enough to make up for the loss of some...ahem...more private time to see how she and Chuck might handle some...ahem...private time...

"Ummm, nope," Ariel said, shaking her head and eying Caroline a little oddly. "He just said he liked my enthusiasm and asked for a welcome hug."

"Well, I couldn't really help the bouncing," Ariel offered.

In fact, she was almost doing a little bit of it right now.

"Yeah, he totally copped a feel," Caroline said, totally disappointed that Ariel was that clueless.

There was a bit of a pause there.

And Ariel went back, reviewed the meeting over in her head, and considered it from Caroline's angle.

And was just innocent enough to not want to believe it.

"Nuh-uh," she said, but she looked doubtful. Doubtful enough to then follow it up by, "Really? You think so?"

"Duh!" There were no other words for her concern at this point. "He is the perfect example of a boy with one thing on his mind. But don't worry, he'll get his one day."

Ariel really hadn't been exposed to enough of that sort of thing to really see it as that bad of a thing, so she looked faintly skeptical for a moment before asking, forehead creasing, "You think so? Like, how?"

"Mm, depends on how much of an asshole he is. I mean, if he learns and grows, maybe he'll just suffer atrocious male pattern baldness and have funny looking children. But if not, some girl's so going to nail his balls to the wall."

Ariel winced a little. "That sounds...complicated," she noted. "Although you can still see the funny looking children, anyway. The baldness, a little harder to picture."
