Third Floor Common Room; Monday Morning [11/18].
As far as the sort of tomfuckery this island liked to throw around all over the place, the last weekend actually hadn't been too bad, but that didn't stop Wayne from just feeling glad to have woken up that morning back to his proper age again and having things get back into their usual swing of things, just in time for Monday Morning Brek'est Breakfast as normal.
Even if his reasons for being glad for this were about a good 50/50 split between just liking things to stay as normal as possibe around here and the fact that he'd run around calling his girlfriend Thuri.
And, oh, sure, he'd get over the lisp just fine. He'd done it once, he'd do it again. But it wasn't himself he was worried about getting over it, it was more other people, but if they had a lick of sense to 'em, they'd just forget about it and move on with their lives.
But that was usually the problem.
Either way, there was breakfast that morning, like pert'near every Monday morning, with all the usual things because somehow the island managed to provide enough in the fridge for it even if Wayne hadn't exactly had a chance to do his usual Sunday breakfast shopping that weekend.
[[ and of course, if it's brek'est, it's open! ]]

"What's the matter, Nina? You're not your usual cheerful self this morning..."

She shaded her eyes (unnecessarily) with her hand to peer at Tisarwat.
"My dreadfulness," she said, "can wait………….. you're in pain."
And, really, despite her theatrics, Nina knew which was more important.

...if you were Radchaai, anyway.
"Tea first," she insisted gently, holding out the cup. "And then we can discuss all of our various aches and pains."
Physical or otherwise.

Nina blinked at Tisarwat, then at the cup, and considered arguing but, really, Tisarwat didn't appear to be bleeding out, and so…
"Well," she said, sitting up and wriggling over so that there was plenty of room for Tisarwat to sit. "If you insist………………"
Then, because she couldn't help asking, even as she reached for the tea, "Thank you, but would you have said the same if you were in imminent danger of dying?????????????"

"Well………..," she said, "I suppose, if you're ever bleeding around me, that we'll find out for sure……………"

"Hopefully it'll never get to that point," Tisarwat noted, "but, at least I know if it does, I'll be in good hands."
Words that, as Tisarwat poured herself some tea now, made her smile fade just a little, because, if she remembered, hands would be a crucial part in how Nina did her healing, if she were to ask. It made her sort of wish Lana had been here instead of Nina, since her method of healing seemed far less...complicated, despite that fact that she knew Nina was almost always at breakfast and Lana rarely was.
"But now that we've got tea...," she prompted, once her own tea was poured, her flask set aside, and she'd had a long sip.

"What's wrong?????????????"

"I can fix the headache," she said, though really, it was probably a ridiculous usage of her magic and yet, really, it wasn't like she was doing anything more important… "Though, like, if it's a reoccurring thing, I probably can't fix what's causing it so it would be just a 'treat the symptoms, not the cause' thing???????????????"

She almost hated the fact that she felt like she'd do just about anything for some good, strong Radchaai drugs about now.

She'd put herself through worse, after all. And remembered even worse things than that.
"No questions," she said, closing her eyes again because that somehow made it easier. "Just gratitude." She smiled a little. "I really appreciate it, Nina."
