Third Floor Common Room; Monday Morning [12/02].
Wayne had been here long enough that, well, he could sort of regard something like all this chocolate in literally every single cabinet of the kitchen was something that could be turned into a 'life gives you lemons' situation, only it was with chocolate and not lemons.
Which was why the pancakes that morning were chocolate, and Wayne whipped them up alongside a few prepared defenses for said chocolate, knowing how sometimes Nina seemed to get a little squirrely about him actually deviating from his usual and making a fuss about it (and then turning right back around and likeleh accussing him of being too stubborn and stuck in his ways!).
It should be noted, though, that each and every pancake had precisely five pieces of chocolate in it. One at each corner, then one right in the middle, because anything more than that was just dessert.
[[ open breakfast is open! and posted before 8am my time because, apparentleh, if it's not posted by then, people start lookin' to steal it ]]

and her munwere SUPER guilty of stealing breakfast, it was true, but like, they were just looking out for Wayne! In case he couldn't do it! Honest!"There's so much chocolate today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she said, which was bound to be terrible for all involved because Nina usually did not eat chocolate for breakfast and yet, here she was, eating chocolate for breakfast.
She was also still super glittery from the
completely handwavedjelly demon party."Gooooooooooooooood moooooooooooooooooorning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

And then he went into his usual "Nina! How are ya now?" while waiting for it to cook a bit before it was time to give it a flip.

He was weird.
"I'm great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she continued happily. "Exhausted, but great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I've already got a stockpile of chocolate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
She'd maybe, yes, opened and shut her door a bunch this morning once she'd realized what was going on.
Vette would approve.
"How are you?????????????????"

He had a pretty good stockpile himself, thanks to the pots and pans all being misplaced for some reason. He waited a second and gave that pancake a flip before asking, "Fix you up a plate?"
no subject
Well.
Hyperbolically.

It was hard to chirp that but chirp that Nina managed!
"There's chocolate everywhere today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

She would also like all the animals.

Nina made a face at the thought of having a coughing fit over inhaling powdered sugar. She'd been more 'stick a hand out her window' sort of girl yesterday.
"Let's keep just breathing air," she decided, "and next time it pours food down from the sky, like, maybe just stick a bucket outside???????????????????"
Because a bucket of powdered sugar would be okay.
"It would almost be like the island is giving us stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

The answer was never, Nina. Never.

IN MODERATION.

Also, she'd hate that pancake about a bite and a half in. Nina was not super into all the sugar and the chocolate she was hoarding today would last her for months.
