The Garden | Friday Afternoon

nothornlessrose.livejournal.comCassidy hadn't had too many weird dreams this week and she hadn't had anyone dead show up on the island. (Not that she could think of anyone in her family or village that had died and needed to see her.)
So, after her first aid class, she had changed into some other clothes and had once again made herself at home in the garden outside the dorms. She was pulling weeds and helping some of the more sparse plants a little bit. She had already felt the heat in the air earlier, so she had pulled her hair up into a ponytail while she worked to get a little bit of relief.
After the first few plants were taken care of, she found a comfortable rhythm that she soon settled into.
