Gym - Monday afternoon

Molly was surprised to find the gym empty when she arrived. This left plenty of room for her to practice her cheer leading routines at least. Before she attempted any of the jumps, however, she spent quite a bit of time stretching out and warming up.

"Yep," Cameron said with a goofy grin. "And he does. Well did, the prof who kept changing him left Fandom, but I'm a bit worried that he's developed a thing for it."

"No, but at least he isn't crazy enough to take someone on a test drive for a machine they've never actually been on." Cameron blinked as he'd been pretty sure he was over this by now.

Alec blinked. "You mean the speeder?" He asked, as that was the only thing that made sense in context. "Molly's invulnerable. Even if I'd bombed the thing, she would've been the one shoveling me off the ground, not the other way."

"Yeah, I know." Cameron sighed. "Nothing personal. It's just that once you get memories stuffed in your head about people you care about dying because of you, you kinda get a knee-jerk reaction when think of them getting in danger. That speeder does look cool, though. I'm jealous." Alright, so he was trying to talk more, but this was ridiculous.

"It can't be any worse than having actual memories of killing the one person you cared about," he said, then froze. His mouth kept going though. "You can ride the speeder, if you want, but I like actually owning something for a change so I'll have to hurt you if you crash it."

"No, you win that round," Cameron said with a frown. He didn't have a clue what to say to that, but it seemed that didn't really matter. "Please tell me you had a good reason or that it was an accident, because that speeder is pretty cool and I'd hate to have to avoid you due to murderer tendencies."

Alec's mouth twitched in a faint smirk. "I have superior strength, speed, reflexes, overall physical improvement and enhancement, eidetic memory, higher than average IQ, telescopic vision, as well as a faster healing rate. And the whole being trained from birth as a soldier thing. So I'd probably not put my money on you, no."
