5th Floor Common Room, Saturday Afternoon

After a strange conversation with Phoebe, Bel headed to the common room. Spreading some love and joy would brighten his mood.

The common room was a mess after the party from the night before. Bel waved his hand, setting the room to right. The walls and furniture became bright and cheery colors, and plates of nutritious yet delicious snacks and glasses of orange juice filled the tables. The TV was playing "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (because people helping other people was quality entertainment suitable for all ages).

He left the glitter, however, because glitter was always fun.

"Pretty name for a pretty girl," observed Alec, his smile growing a little broader. "But a pretty girl like you shouldn't look so distressed. Something wrong? Anything I can help with?"

"Thank you," She replied automatically, not really thinking about this guy possibly coming on to her being so nice. She was glad for it though, she sure was.

"Well, you see, I think I was drugged. Maybe. I don't know. Last night at the club, and then I was given that video with those girls and maybe I was put in some sort of trance or something." She looked up at him expectantly.

Oh, a method Alec could wholeheartedly agree with, even if it wasn't quite his style. "That's a shame," he said, shaking his head in a credible semblance of disapproval. "Is everything all right now, though?"

She nodded, looking up at him. "That could be it. But," she tilted her head. "What about you?" She stepped closer and lowered her voice to a whisper. "Cause I really think you are Anders."

"Sorry," Alec said, turning on his sexy smile, "but if there's anyone here by that name you've got the wrong guy. Or maybe the right one."

She chewed her bottom lip for a minute. "If you are, will I know it right away?"

Oh, this one was so naive, Alec thought to himself with a chuckle. Perfect, really. "Oh, you'll know," he purred with unmistakable intent. "You should know right about now."

She shrugged a little and looked down at her the tips of her shoes before she looked back up at him. "I don't know. I don't play the flirting game. At least not well, I don't think."

And even though trusting him was the last thing any decent girl should do, Alec was very glad to hear it. "Of course you should," he murmured, reaching up to touch the side of her face.

Annette held herself still but she raised a cute little brow at the touch to her face. "I would call this subtle flirting, Alec. Would you?"

He would call it something more than subtle, himself, but if it was working he wasn't going to argue. "I'd call it a lot of fun," he drawled. "Fun I wouldn't mind continuing."

He was really smooth, Annette certainly thought that. And so handsome. She wondered how far he thought his flirting would get him.

She smiled slightly. "I wouldn't mind either, Alec."

Okay, he was getting a little close now. Annette watched his eyes, then his mouth, then his eyes again. And maybe she was breathing just a tad bit heavier.

Now that he was sure she wasn't going to pull away, Alec deepened the kiss a bit. If all the girls here were so pliant, he was going to have an easy job indeed.
