Flag Football, Main Gym - Afternoon

John and Willow had handwavily left messages for the all the players abut the change in practice time.
The gym was set up for flag football. There were gold and blue flags in two boxes. Above the boxes players could see the huge poster Willow'd made. It was covered in stickers and glitter and written in many colorful markers. The poster listed the two teams and the names of the players on each team as follows:

Gold Team Blue Team
John Sheppard, captain Willow Rosenberg, captain
Abigail Whistler Adam Park
Billy Kessler Andros
Bridge Carson Annette Hargrove
Chad Sado Jim Halpert
Dawn Summers Jo Harvelle
Dean Winchester Marco Conrad
Dick Casablancas Sam Winchester
Evie Carnahan Shawn Farrell
Johnny Storm Sokka

The poster also encouraged players to pick the proper color flags and join their captain for practice. There were also bottles of water by the sign in sheet just cuz I love that icon.

[OOC: Wait for OCD is up! All oglers welcome in the watching/cheering thread, but remember: Those who watch too much football will wear out their end zone.]

"Hey Molly. I'm pretty good. Kinda bummed that the weekend is almost over though," she said. "How are you?"

"I'm good!" Molly said. "I was glad to see you sign up for this."

"Well, I wasn't about to let this be a boys only thing. Someone's got to show the guys that the girls can be footballers too."

Molly laughed lightly. "That's true." She glanced briefly over at John. "It's also good for meeting new people. That was one of the reasons John started it."

"I can't argue with that. I think I've almost met more people here than I did out at the cabins," Abigail said. "John's pretty good with the ideas, I guess."

"Yeah, he's pretty smart," Molly said and watched John as he talked to some of the other players. "He's not too bad to look at either." Her glance slid over to Abigail to see what her reaction to that statement was.

"Oooh, definitely not," Abigail agreed, because hi, she wasn't blind. "Are you two..." She trailed off, motioning between Molly and John in a vague attempt of signifying togetherness.

"Hmm?" Molly pretended to briefly be confused about what Abigail meant. "Oh! Me and John? No, we're just friends." She sighed, trying to make it sound wistful. "No, John is just looking for fun. I'm not ready for that type of relationship. So, we'll just be friends." She looked back over at John and shook her head a little. "It's too bad, really."

"Just looking for fun, huh?" Abigail wasn't sure if she was starting to get a reputation, or if Molly had just gotten lucky in talking to her, but either way, she wasn't going to complain. "That is too bad," she said, looking over at John with a bit more of a grin.

Molly watched Abigail's expression and mentally gave herself a high-five for hitting pay dirt on her first try. She grinned.

"Yeah, he's a lot of fun to just hang out with, so I'm good with friends."

"Just being friends can be a good thing too. Especially with guys," Abigail said. "Sometimes, I think they might be easier to get along with than girls."

Molly shrugged. "Sometimes," she said. "But sometimes definitely not."
